Compare Campervan & RV Hire in Los Angeles
If you have any interest whatsoever in a Los Angeles RV rental and visiting the West Coast of the United States, you’d have to be at least a little bit crazy not to check out everything that Los Angeles – and the rest of Southern California – has to offer.
Home to Hollywood, the arts, amazing nightlife and entertainment, and more restaurants and cultural hotspots then may be anywhere else along the West Coast (certainly more than anything else in Southern California), Los Angeles is a place you can hire a campervan for a weekend, a week, a month or more and see everything this city has to offer!
Los Angeles was claimed by the Spanish in 1542, along with the rest of the area of Southern California, and the city was officially established in 1781 by the Spanish government. During the Mexican war of Independence, the Mexicans took control Los Angeles in 1821 – but at the end of the Mexican-American war in 1848 the US government had taken back Los Angeles, and it’s been a part of the US ever since.
When California became a state in 1850 Los Angeles was one of its biggest, and when oil was discovered in the 1890s the city grew. The Los Angeles aqueduct (a major historical landmark you’ll want to visit) was established in 1913 and allowed the city to grow even larger, and with the advent of “moving pictures” in the early 1900s, Los Angeles and Hollywood established itself as the global headquarters for the television and film industry and it continues to be that today.
What are some of the best things to do with a Los Angeles campervan hire?
